Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including nursing homes, urgent care facilities, and hospice care environments. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily activities while ensuring their comfort and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and medical records management, as well as familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Help maintain patient hygiene and comfort by ensuring clean living conditions. Support nursing staff in administering medications and treatments as directed. Document patient care activities accurately in medical records. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to patient care. Skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with patients and families. Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology. Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks) is preferred. Experience in hospice care or nursing home settings is a plus. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality care.
