Neighborly Hands is a trusted home care agency dedicated to serving seniors and individuals with disabilities in the comfort of their homes. We are seeking a dependable and experienced Lead Caregiver who will play a key role both in the field and in our office. This hybrid position includes providing direct care, supporting caregiver staff, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Position Summary: The Lead Caregiver will provide high-quality hands-on care to clients, assist with caregiver supervision and training, and support office functions such as staffing, client check-ins, and scheduling. This position requires someone who is flexible, organized, and passionate about serving others. Key Responsibilities: Field Support: Deliver personal care services to clients as needed (bathing, toileting, dressing, housekeeping, companionship, errands) Respond to last-minute call-offs by covering shifts or arranging replacements Conduct Start-of-Care visits and help onboard new clients Monitor client well-being and report changes to the office Office Responsibilities: Assist with caregiver scheduling, communication, and follow-up Conduct new caregiver orientation and field training Perform quality assurance checks and documentation audits Support client care plans and update records as needed Communicate with clients and families in a professional and compassionate manner Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience (home care or facility) CNA, HHA, or DSP certification preferred Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is a plus Strong communication and time management skills Comfortable using computer systems for scheduling and documentation Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel between client homes Passionate about helping seniors live safely and happily at home
