About the job
I am looking for a female care provider for my 85 yr old Irish mum. Mum has dementia and needs help with remembering to take her medication, encouragement and assistance with walking, and general companionship. We understand that future needs will increase to help with getting up in morning, showering and dressing, changing bedding, light meal prep and bedtime routine in the evening. We are at the beginning of the dementia journey right now and hope to find a care provider for mum that will be able to form a long term bond with her and increase duties as needed. Currently looking for 10 to 15 hrs a week leading to additional hours as mums dementia progresses. Must be able to make a good cup of tea and enjoy a nice chat !
