About who needs care: Peg is 88yo & lives independently in her home with her husband Jim who is 91yo. Peg has chronic pain in her back which makes her unable to cook, do laundry or go grocery shopping. She is able to do get ADLs independently. Jim is in good physical health. Although he now has blurred vision in his left eye so he is unable to drive so he can no longer do grocery shopping. He is able to do his own ADLs. They need help with light housekeeping, simple meal prep, errands. They would like a care giver in their home for 4-6 hrs mid- morning to mid-afternoon M-F. About the care needs: A caregiver who is easygoing & has a good sense of humor would be a good fit. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
