About who needs care: 82-year-old man with ALS. No cognitive impairments but is immobile and cannot walk or use arms. Needs to be transferred from chair to bed with a Hoyer lift. Evening care includes feeding him dinner, transporting him from chair to bed, changing diaper and cleaning, and preparing for sleep. About the care needs: 7pm-9 p.m. every night is the preferred schedule. Could also consider 6pm-9 p.m. One caregiver could cover all seven days or we can split the week between two caregivers. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
