About the job
We're looking for hands-on care for my 88-year-old mother. We would prefer a CNA. We need help with getting her up in the morning, dressing her, grooming her, changing her Depends and/or going to the bathroom and feeding her meals. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping such as laundry and meal preparation. Mom is receiving PT and OT services in the home and you would be expected to assist with Mom's exercises on occasion as well. Assistance with bathing is another of our expectations. We do have a Hoyer lift which we are using to move her at this time. Our 87-year-old father also lives in the home. He has memory issues which will require some adjustments and consideration. Currently we are trading off so that one daughter is here at the house full time.
