About who needs care: mom has newly diagnosed early dementia. Able to still care for own adl's but forgetful and needs companionship. Is kind and pleasant. Assistance with meal prep, light housework. Dad is 82 alert, oriented able to care for himself but has extensive heart disease and unable to complete household duties consistently and impatient with mom due to her condition and his deteriorating condition. Daily structure is not defined and different everyday. Mom still likes to go for walks and talk, but attention span is short. needs encouragement to eat About the care needs: Patient and kind, ok to converse or sit quietly. good listener, flexible, observant of any mental or physical changes and trustworthy.
