Age 87. CHF, hepatic encephalopathy, started hospice 3/22. In same 1100 sf split level house 56 years. Lost 89-year-old husband 2 months ago. Uses walker & chairlift down 6 stairs to kitchen. Wears depends for urinary incontinence, can get to bathroom next to bedroom. Has difficulty sleeping, sits up a lot at night and can have falls if not watched. Family & hired caregivers help during the day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Looking for help from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. M-F & occasional weekend nights. About the care needs: Patience with the elderly with poor short term memory & comfort level helping change adult Depends for urinary incontinence. Mainly looking for someone to watch our mom during the night to make sure she doesn't fall out of bed when restless & tired from poor sleep. Services needed: Keeping safe with poor sleep to prevent falls.
