About the job
(First of all, I want to tell you that we are an agency, so we take taxes.) It is a live-in job and they already have one caregiver (not from my agency) so it might be only 3 - 24 hour days, or might be 4 24 hour days. The current caregiver works weekends, so our days would be during the week (exact days to be determined). This is an independent 88-year-old active lady. She LOVES to garden almost every day!! She is a fall risk and needs mostly companionship/observation. This job pays $275 per day.. Requires a professional personality. Need to have the ability to engage her when she wants company and leave her alone when she desires to be alone. Family is always around, as are several "employees" (Landscaping - Housekeeping). Must be able to drive her to shopping and appointments (in HER car). The family is ready to hire someone quickly, but they are very demanding that the caregiver be the "right" person.
