About who needs care: My sister is 40, severely developmentally disabled/autistic. I like to describe her as a toddler in a 40 yr Olds body. She can have temper tantrums and get violent. My mother is her primary care giver but suffered a back injury and needs to recover. We'd like someone to help with basic tasks like bathing my sister, cooking, light cleaning, and putting my sister to bed. About the care needs: Very positive personality, my sister feeds off environmental stimuli, happy environment will keep her happy. I'd love someone who has lots of experience with redirection and temperment issues, a lot of the time you can redirect my sister pretty easily to calm her down. My sister loves the lion king, she watches it all day every day! She likes playing with her toys as well, animals and such. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
