About the job
We need hands-on care to take care of my grandmother in Huntley. Assistance with medication is needed 2x daily. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation if needed (currently receiving a daily meal service). We're looking for someone to provide companionship. We'll need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate. We ask that you handle transportation as needed, to the store, chiropractor, doctors appointments. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker (is a must), comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. Willing to hire 2 caregivers to split the time and to use as backups as needed. Family lives in the area and would be willing to give breaks as needed. Looking for LIVE IN care at this time. She is a Fall Risk.
