About who needs care: She has Afib, and can walk but cannot move around for a long time. She considers herself independent (as is). Lives in a Condo building in Des Plaines. My brother and I see her several days of the week after work. We do her shopping, she just had a fall and broke her wrist so this is the reason we are reaching out for assistance. She is a very friendly woman, great manners, hospitable, caring and like to talk about her life. About the care needs: Someone who is patient, clean and does things meticulously whether it be cleaning, or food prep. No real specialized skills needed. Someone genuine, friendly and nice to speak and listen. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
