About the job
Looking for a caring and compassionate live-in companion for my mother (in her 80's) in Dekalb, IL. My father passed away Late March and she's having a difficult time. Hours are flexible throughout the day. She does not need 24 hour care. We just need another life in the house. My mother is on full time oxygen. Duties include but not limited to, making sure Oxygen equipment is in order, help with medication management if needed, light housekeeping and help with meal preparation. Part of your responsibilities will include playing cards, socializing, running errands, transportation to doctor's appointments and to visit her kids. Pay is weekly not hourly.
