About the job
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable part-time caregiver to assist an 80-year-old man with his daily needs. The caregiver will provide 24-27hrs of care per week at $25/hour. This is a part-time position with a minimum commitment of 3 months, and while long-term employment is not guaranteed, an extension may be possible based on the situation. The elderly man lives with a housemate and has a cat, so the caregiver must be comfortable working in a shared living space and around pets. Responsibilities: Assist with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, etc.). Meal preparation and feeding according to their needs. Light housekeeping duties (laundry, cleaning, organizing) for the elderly man only. Transportation to medical appointments or running errands. Caring for the man's general well-being and safety.
