About who needs care: My Mother needs a homemaker experience with geriatric seniors. She is recovering from hip surgery performed on December 15, 2025. She completed subacute rehab successfully and was discharged on February 19, 2025. She can use a walker with assistance but experiences bouts of fear and anxiety when transferring from one location to another. My mother is a spiritually minded, strong-willed woman who loves to read, sing, play the piano, and watch TV. About the care needs: My mother needs a caregiver who specializes in geriatrics or senior elder care. The caregiver needs patience, a jovial sense of humor, a motivational personality who enjoys listening and learning and is willing to participate in self-care exercises with my mother. The caregiver must know how to cook, plan, and prep healthy southern-style meals according to my mother's preferences, be organized, and have good housekeeping skills. The caregiver also needs a car or knows how to drive and go grocery shopping. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
