About who needs care: Needs acute care while I work. She is recovering from a broken ankle and is currently in a walking boot and can get around relatively well with a walker. Her physical, speech and occupational therapists agree that she is not quite ready to be left alone yet. The break was suffered during a stroke on inauguration day. She is cognitively recovered from the stroke and is building back her strength towards reclaiming her independence. About the care needs: Friendly, patient and kind. A basketball fan would be a plus as my mom hasn't missed a Golden State Warriors game for many, many years. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
