About who needs care: My dad likes to eat so enjoying preparing meals is important. They don't have to be elaborate, just foods he likes that are nutritious. He does not communicate much and prefers to sleep a lot so a quiet person is preferred. He has moderate dementia but is physically healthy. Although frail he does not need or use support devices. Basic duties would be cooking, bathing/dressing and keeping the house picked up and clean. About the care needs: Someone who knows about persons with moderate dementia and who are quiet and able to live in a quiet environment. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
