Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Berwyn

About who needs care: Recently had surgery to remove a brain tumor. Is currently going to Radiation daily. Has a feeding tube in his belly where he's fed 3 times a day. He is alert and talkative. His daily routine is Radiation in the a. m., come home, gets a feeding about 12:00 p.m. , takes a nap, gets another feeding in the afternoon about 4:00 p.m. , watches TV, then gets another feeding around 8:00 p.m. Then he goes to bed. About the care needs: A good fit would be someone who is patient and kind. My dad is pretty easy to get along with. They should be trained (or we can train them) on how to do G tube feedings. How to help him get dressed and bathe him when needed. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
