About who needs care: Mom had a mild stroke last week, a head injury with a brain bleed 1 year ago December. She has a touch of Alzheimer's so her memory is not very good, sometimes has a little difficulty finding the words for what she wants to say. Mom is tiny, maybe 100lbs. She does not move very fast so sometimes has an accident, she wears an absorbent pad for this. Our fear is UTI's at this age and the fact that she can't quite clean herself to good, hence the bathing and hygiene. Mom is good with any time of day but mornings or early noon would be best. She used to quilt and paint plus sold real estate in the valley for many years... About the care needs: 1. As long as they are patient and caring. 2. No special skills. 3. Not really. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
