About who needs care: My mother is currently going through chemotherapy for intestinal cancer. On February 2 she had surgery for a tear in her intestinal lining. She is coming home from the hospital on Tuesday, Feb 11 and needs live-in care for 2-3 nights. About the care needs: My mom is very weak and on pain medication. She needs to someone who can stay on top of her post-release treatment needs, both day and night as needed. Her hobbies include: spending time with grandkids and family, traveling, watching tv/movies, and health/wellness topics. Services needed include: wound cleaning, giving medication, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship. The schedule: she needs around-the-clock availability from at least Tue-Fri. Must be available to help in the middle of the night if she needs it.
