My husband is Australian. He is in excellent health except for dementia. He walks 2-3 miles most days. He has lost his ability to follow directions but is open to receiving help with things he used to be able to do himself, like laundry and cooking. He taught photography in Sydney. He loves jazz. His ideal day would include a walk to the co-op for groceries, listening to and talking about jazz, looking at photographs, and watching a funny movie. I work from home in the afternoons, so I will be around but occupied. He gets bored when I can't give him attention, so a couple hours with someone else will be a boon to us both. Some flexibility on schedule and hours. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.
