Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Des Moines

About who needs care: My lovely sweet and kind mother has Rheumatoid Arthritis and needs assistance walking and safely getting to the bathroom for fall prevention while I'm at work. I need a caring person to get her meals and monitor her fluid intake. She likes to read a bit during the day and rest with her two adorable cats. She enjoys watching a bit of TV and a good movie. I need a focused attentive person to monitor her physical well being in case 911 needs to be called at a moments notice. She has a life alert necklace that connects with 911 emergency services. I need someone that is assertive and will take my mother's safety and care seriously. She is my #1 priority and is an absolute angel! Very light house keeping associated with caring for my mother, such as, putting dishes in dish washer and some days collecting trash. Approximately 18 hours, maybe more per week. Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I need an angel! She is a darling beautiful girl! About the care needs: Someone who has a calming, soothing, caring, conscientious and uplifting demeanor. A person who takes my mother's care and comfort seriously. A person who is a helper and likes to help others. Someone who is very patient with elderly people, understanding that they process things slower and need their dignity maintained and need extra support and kindness as they are aging, since this can be a very scary time for them. Someone who is extra cautious and takes every precaution to protect her safety. My mother loves her kitty cats. Specialized skills: anticipating potential fall risks and proper physical support that is needed for the elderly. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
