About who needs care: My Mom has Lewy Body dementia. Physically she is in great health for her age. She does have hearing and a bit of eye sight issues but otherwise fine. She needs care during the day while I work as she cannot be by herself. On "bad" days, she gets very anxious and depressed which can lead to thoughts/hallucinations that make her think she needs to flee the house. About the care needs: My Mom is a devout Catholic and gets a lot of peace from praying the rosary. That is a great tool to help calm her. Someone who can lead her in that would be helpful. My Mom is also bilingual (English & Spanish) and flows between each language so having someone that can speak both is very beneficial. Experience with caring for dementia patients is highly desired. Services needed include: companionship.
