I need a hands-on care provider experience for my father in his 60s. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. It's important that the caregiver is able to sense and respond to non-verbal cues, as my dad has difficulty expressing himself in English and is generally a quiet person. While it would be a bonus if the caregiver speaks Vietnamese, it is not a requirement. The most important quality is the ability to connect with my dad, even without relying heavily on verbal communication. skills are not necessary, but experience providing compassionate and attentive care would be a valuable asset.
