About who needs care: She has dementia. Would need someone the hours of 8 to 6 or 8:30-6 p.m. Saturday & Sunday. Companionship, light housekeeping, help with meals, dressing, bathing and medications. Maybe going for a walk just to get out of the house. About the care needs: Must like dogs as there is one small to medium size dog in the house. Must have patients and knowledge of dementia would be very helpful. At times thick skin due to her condition she may need redirection at times. Just someone to care for her as she is only 57 dealing with the dementia itself can be very overwhelming for her and anyone dealing with such a debilitating condition. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
