As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily tasks and activities. Duties: - Administer medications to clients according to prescribed schedules - Assist clients with mobility challenges in moving safely - Aid clients with personal grooming, dressing, and meal consumption - Support clients in performing physical therapy exercises - Prepare and cook meals tailored to individual dietary requirements - Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the client's living environment through housekeeping duties - Offer emotional support and companionship to clients - Report any unusual occurrences or concerns to healthcare professionals or supervisors promptly - Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations Experience: - Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant is preferred - Dedication to promoting health and safety standards - Proficiency in performing household tasks and cooking meals - Reliable, well-organized, and detail-oriented - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Compassionate attitude towards client care - Strong ethical principles - Physical endurance and stamina - CPR & First Aid certification, Physician Evaluation, Fire Safe class certificate and Negative Tb test within30 day required This position offers opportunities for both part-time and full-time employment.
