About who needs care: My dad has Parkinson's disease, diabetes, so he can easily faint upon standing if his blood pressure drops too low. My mom has mild dementia and undiagnosed mental illnesses therefore she needs help also. My dad needs help getting dressed and both need help with meal preparation and housecleaning. About the care needs: Someone who is patient (my mom repeats the same things over and over again because of the dementia) her short term memory is very poor. We also need someone who understands how Parkinson's disease affects mobility. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
