About who needs care: In search of a Caregiver with a passion for helping those in need--and not just looking for a "job". We're looking for someone to assist/help rehabilitate a person who was--as of a month or so ago--able to function completely on her own. A basic description of duties would include: Assisting with morning/evening personal care Medication management (not administration) Mobility assistance (helping with scheduled physical therapy routines) Light meal prep/housekeeping Monitoring and reporting health changes to family members About the care needs: Specialized Skills preferred: Any experience working with Asthma/COPD individuals who require oxygen Any experience working with Diabetic individuals who require insulin Being a genuinely good person Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
