About who needs care: My mom has liver cancer, which has affected her mind and she has dementia. About the care needs: My mom has dementia, brought on by liver cancer. My mom is a happy person. My dad takes care of her, and can be difficult to deal with because he wants no help. I would like her to just like him to accept some help. She stays home most of the time. I think just some company, sitting outside having coffee, she really doesn't have hobbies any more. I think reading has become difficult for her too. I try to visit once or twice a week, I live in Dawsonville. Im not sure really how to handle this. I dont think she should be left at home alone. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
