Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Richmond Hill

About who needs care: The care is for my 30-year-old daughter. She is recovering from a stroke, and has right side paralysis. She is cognitively intact and very smart. She has a tracheotomy, but very little would be required from her caregiver in that regard. We have an electric Hoyer lift, and she is also great at manual transfers. She wears a brief and may need occasional changing, and she does have an ostomy as well. She loves animals, nature, watching tv. I am looking for someone that can come sit with her while I run errands and go to appointments. I would also like household help if possible. Cleaning and some laundry help would be wonderful. About the care needs: A cheerful, outgoing person would be a good fit. She responds very well to fun energy. She is only 30 years old, and would be well matched with a caregiver with a spunky personality. As for specialized skills, she will need occasional oral suctioning with her suction machine. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
