About who needs care: My mother is unable to walk after having a stroke. She can feed herself. However, her right arm is weakened after the stroke. She is unable to lift her right leg. At age 79, her cognitive function is good. She loves games that challenge her mentally, reading, watching movies, Jeopardy and spending time with friends and family. About the care needs: My mother has an outgoing, witty personality and love great conversation and a sense of humor. A caregiver who has a warm personality, is professional and thorough would be ideal. She needs a caregiver who will dress and bathe her as well as transfer her from the bed to the wheelchair. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
