About the job
We are in need of an experienced, caring, family-oriented senior care provider to provide basic care and companionship to our grandmother. Our grandmother is easy to get along with, and of sound mind. The primary things she needs assistance with are mobility (ie, moving around and wheelchair assistance), bath & grooming, and light meal prep & housekeeping. While we want someone who is very ATTENTIVE and takes INITIATIVE to be available throughout the day, the work is not demanding or strenuous, and you would not be constantly tied down all day. You would be able to take a couple of hours each day for your own errands and self-care. We'd like to pay a flat rate, not hourly. Strongly prefer a care provider age 40+. Pay rate is best for a retiree or a caring, attentive person looking for supplemental income.
