Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Marietta

About who needs care: Looking for a companion and helper for my step mother with mild cognitive impairment. Maybe someone to be with her when my dad left the house, take her shopping or to an art class. she'd be a bit resistant at first but if it was a good fit, she would look forward to it. She has been quite social her whole life. Now, things are a little trickier because of some lapse in memory. My father is starting to have a hard time leaving her alone. About the care needs: She has always been interested in culture, art, literature, music. She's had special girlfriends. But her short term memory is fading and her ability to understand situations is getting challenging as well. Today, she answered the door and almost had someone give her an estimate on residing their house. Also, she has been getting lost driving lately. We would love to see her start drawing again. She used to do it some and it might be a good exercise for her. Services needed include: companionship.
