About who needs care: She's 99 yrs old with Alzheimers. She uses a walker if encouraged to and, if nobody is watching LOL. She's usually pretty agreeable, but (rarely) will refuse her medicine and be a little grumpy. She Loves coffee and bagels. She reads a lot and will get interested in a TV show sometimes.... especially archeology and history combos. She loves bright, sunny days and sitting for 30 minutes on the patio. The biggest concern is her falling. She's quite prone to falls, that's why we encourage the walker. She may also sleep thru your visit for the entire visit!! Feel free to hang out in the den where we have a baby monitor to hear her get up and, the TV is in there as well. You won't be responsible for any of her medication... but may need to make her a cup of coffee as her vision is poor. That's about all I can squeeze in here, but will be happy to tell you anything else you ask About the care needs: A calm, soothing personality with a sense of humor and some patience Must be able to help her stand from sitting position if she's weak. She's only 100 lbs. An older, retired type person would probably understand her best. Although she enjoys youthful ladies as long as they are laid back. With Alzheimers, there are times when you have to be firm to prevent her from getting hurt She has no specific hobbies. Services needed include: companionship.
