About who needs care: My mom is recovering from cancer treatment. It has resulted in extreme fatigue and inability to perform routine housework and things such as washing her hair. She is on oxygen and tires easily. She has a husband but there is conflict in the home preventing him from helping out. She is fiercely independent, so her admission that she needs help means that she is struggling significantly. About the care needs: Someone who is not pushy and doesnt try to convince my mother to do anything she doesnt want to do. She is independent and extremely headstrong. The person should be skilled at making suggestions that are not bossy or lecturing. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
