About the job
About who needs care: She has Alzheimer's with sundowners and PTSD. Just need someone here while I do meetings (mostly occurring the 2nd and last Thursday of the month) to remind her where I am and keep her from looking for me outside of the home. This happens two times per month, plus I may have some meetings that get scheduled in addition which could be at various times or other times that I need to be out where I can not take her with me. I may ask for a simple task from time to time depending upon the time of day such as to give her a meal that I prepared in advance and remind her to take her insulin in that case. About the care needs: Just a patient person (probably female works best) that will listen to her as she will constantly complain of her fears and fearfulness of someone doing harm. MUST be on time due to my schedule. (I am a city council member). Someone that has no problem with the fact that we are both female. An animal lover would be great. We have a dog and 2 cats. She loves to talk ranching, animals of almost any kind or teaching but not children or grandchildren as she has none of those. Services needed include: companionship.
