About the job
Mom is a sweet lady in her 80's who strives to remain strong & independent, with a good mind but in an advanced stage of Parkinson's effecting her mobility and speaking volume. New to assisted living in Buckhead & needs someone with Parkinson's expertise to be her advocate ensuring her needs are met by their caregiver team. Important to be highly skilled and comfortable coaching and communicating with their caregivers. Paid care includes ADLs such as toileting, showering, and escorting but we may shift this role to primary care and more hours. Initially, you will fill gaps such as light apartment cleanup, doing PT/OT/Speech exercises, giving foot baths, cutting food, & helping get Mom settled into activities. Non-smoker & no perfume. Let us know which of these shifts you can work. Some weekends will be required.
