Used to be very involved in peace action and women's issues. About the care needs: Someone who will engage with mom but not hover. Maybe read a book to her. Mom has a lot of back pain so spends a lot of time laying on the couch. Sometimes naps. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
