About who needs care: I am wheelchair bound. I have what is sometimes described as an auto immune disease. It is Inclusion Body Myositis or IBM. This disease inflames muscle tissue and destroys it - similar to ALS. It will continue to get worse over time. My wife has her hand full and needs help dealing with me and my disease. About the care needs: Upbeat and patient. Lots of patience. Not sure how it will affect me later as the disease progresses. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
