About who needs care: 82-year-old woman who recently moved here from NY. She recently lost her husband and is alone. She suffers from extreme stenosis and arthritis so walking and doing anything is difficult for her. Spanish speaking a plus. She still likes to smoke and drink so the carer would need to be able to tolerate cigarette smoke. Spanish speaking a plus. Bedroom and private bathroom available in brand new construction home. About the care needs: Spanish speaking a plus. A woman who can handle seniors and memory loss. The caregiver would also need to be able to help her bath, dress and do light housekeeping, meal prep and laundry. This senior woman is basically unable to do most anything for herself and has a wonderful personality - who misses socially interacting with people. Hopefully this caregiver can also be a companion and like to talk and maybe take her out for walks or out shopping occasionally. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
