Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Wellington

Help needed for my mother in her 80s - seeking part time hands-on care a few hours per day, several days per week. The actual schedule can be worked out with you. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Responsibilities will include helping with transfers/bathing/grooming.... you will assist the caretakers at the ALF, they have a hard time moving her around, she had a stroke and is wheelchair bound but we are trying to get her strong enough to transfer from chair to bed/recliner/toilet on her own eventually. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction, plus helping with physical therapy exercises (bands, etc.). I would love it if you could take her out in her chair for "walks" to the nearby shopping mall, etc. Preferences for a caregiver who speaks English well, is a non-smoker and first-aid trained.
