Help needed for my wife with Parkinson's disease and moderate dementia in her 70s - seeking full-time hands-on care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Assistance with medication is needed. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Some help needed with bathing. Personal care required, including feeding. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. Have had problems with caregivers that reside more than 10 miles, prefer applicants that reside within a reasonable commuting distance.
