About who needs care: Has brain tumor. Can walk slowly with a walker but trouble getting out of bed, etc. Cognituve function is good, no confusion. Having a difficult time accepting the situation, can be emotional. Has always had some OCD tendencies but seem worse with the loss of control. Wants to be organized, everything in its place and very tidy. Would love someone to not only assist with ADLs, but to distract from her anxiety, take her outside and tackle small project. About the care needs: Female, someone who is very tidy and understands her demands to straighten and have things a particular way. Someone who has a gentle encouraging manner. She has home health for showering, but occasionally has accidents overnight and may need help getting cleaned up. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
