Light Care And House Cleaning For Parents In Oldsmar

About who needs care: My parents (80 and 81) spend most of their day in the living room watching movies on TV. They regularly eat out and are fine to drive. They have groceries delivered. My father is recovering from recent (January 9) gallbladder surgery and my mother is not able to help him with mobility. He is 6-foot-4 and weighs about 275 pounds. He has diabetes and a history of pulmonary embolism. He also broke his femur in 2020 and that has permanently limited his flexibility and balance. My mother is recovering from a hip replacement in December and is unable to keep up with some cleaning tasks for now. We would like someone to pick up after them, make sure they stay hydrated, and make sure they are both keeping up with their physical therapy and exercise. For housekeeping, the one chore my mother is unable to do right now is clean the floors (mop, vacuum) so we would love someone to do that regularly. Mom insists she's fine doing laundry, changing sheets, etc., but she is open to help! Dishes are usually Dad's job, so that needs help right now too. The house is about 2000 sf and has 3 bedrooms, 1 office, and 2 bathrooms. Only the primary bedroom and its bathroom are regularly used, but the rest of the family will be visiting in mid-February and using all the rooms. About the care needs: The ability to help my father with mobility if he needs it requires someone strong as he is 6-foot-4 and weighs about 275 pounds. He has fallen at home a few times and my mother has needed help from neighbors just to get him off the floor. We need someone to both stop by to look after them and do house cleaning, preferably one person who'd be willing to do both (or a team of two people). A sense of humor is vital. Neither of them has good hearing so a nice loud voice! If you're into old movies that would give you a lot to talk about with my father.
