My mother is a 60 dementia patient. She doesn't need extreme care now but does have time where hygiene and meals can be forgotten. She needs a companion that will spend a few hours with her going to the park or trails for walks. She may also need help every now and then with meals and hygiene. She's very alert but will on occasion slip into panic or hallucinations. We hate leaving her alone for the 8 hours of the day while everyone is working. Loves watching movies with music and taking care of the cats.
