Required: Have transportation and live within 5 miles of Eastlake Woodlands (Palm Harbor). You can schedule your own days and times. TWO HOURS, THREE DAYS A WEEK. Anytime from 8:00-6:00, seven days a week. Guests are allowed to accompany residents to their meals in the dining room. Companionship for 81-year-old male with moderate dementia. He resides in a long-term care facility. He doesn't participate in the activities offered at the facility, so he gets lonely. He is a former marine and loves dogs and cats. He doesn't do puzzles, bingo or crafts. If you have a dog that's friendly and up to date with vaccines, that would be awesome, as dogs can visit residents. He is usually in a wheelchair, but can transfer and tries to walk a little. He feeds and grooms himself and converses fine. He gets easily confused and forgets a lot.
