About who needs care: Dementia Progressive - She loves to clean, watch tv, sleep, go for rides, go to the grocery store and has several appointments during the month. Her morning is typically, coffee, breakfast, news, shower, then she spends a lot of time primping in the bathroom mirror, then starts washing clothes and cleaning light things like sweeping because she likes to stay busy. They on days when she has appointments, we go to appointments and then to the grocery store, pick up scripts, and sometimes grab lunch before I go back to work or work from home. She takes lots of naps but her short term memory is pretty bad. About the care needs: Easy going personality, kind, funny, ability to take her to appointments, and the store and remind her that she doesn't need things she already. Ability to take her on short rides if she's like to get out for a bit on days when she doesn't have appointments. Companionship while daughter is at work. Previous experience with dementia patients is a plus. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
