My 89-year-old, previously completely independent and former mechanical engineer father suffered a stroke and now has left sided partial paralysis. We need hands-on care at his Seminole home where he lives with his independent 87-year-old wife. Duties include, activities of daily living, grooming, bathing, feeding soft diet, transitioning between bed and chair via lift, medication administration orally or via GJ Tube, limb movement to prevent contractures, daily outside walks. Some light meal prep and tidying up is involved. Looking for caring and compassionate caregivers who are self motivated, reliable team players . Preferences for a caregiver who can operate a hoyer lift and has previous experience with stroke patients. Non Smoker is essential. This is a long term job for the successful candidate.
