About who needs care: Dementia. Stubborn. Goofy. Repetitive. Occasional inappropriate comments. Non violent. Happy. Loves activity. Loves conversation. Looking for stability exercises. Ankles, feet, legs, core. Balance. Walking, spin bike, weights, body weight. Flexible hours 11-5pn. Looking for 1. 5 hours a few times a week. Good sense of humor needed. Also needs to be able to guide senior while they are doing their best to distract you and not do the work, Need to be able to read physical and mental capabilities that change minute to minute. Patience. Humor. Sarcasm. Listener as well as a conversationalist. About the care needs: He enjoys animals (we have a cat and small dog that thinks she is a rabid coyote. Dog is 15lbs and she will bite ankles. She's real cute but will need to be put in bedroom while exercising. Unless out on a walk. Then she's fine. (Bipolar?). He also enjoys happy people that do not get frustrated with repeated conversations. He's extremely stubborn and sarcastic, but will do exercises and activity as needed. Meet and greet a must. Multi visit trial period to see if a good fit. He tends to love everyone but he's not for everyone. Services needed include: companionship, and mobility assistance.
