About the job
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Assistant to provide care for my 60-year-old husband a US army retiree, who is recovering from a stroke. He requires assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and specialized care to be discussed in a private setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in caregiving, with a strong background in stroke recovery and patient care. Schedule: As needed in evenings and or weekend shifts. Hours could be more and Long term if it is a perfect match or they can just be PRN. Ideally need someone every other Sunday from 8 to 2 p.m. or 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Every other Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. You can pick up all shifts or only some. Some evening hours on Fridays also open.
